What is CYIA?Christian Youth in Action is a short-term missions opportunity that equips students to evangelize and minister to children in 5-Day Clubs® and other outreach opportunities in their community.
How Does the Summer Work?
This opportunity includes a time of training that is completed in two phases.
The first phase is completed through a regional one day training for all students on June 5 or 12, 2021. You will be notified which date for your area.
The Main Teaching Team will also attend one week of training at
* June 20-26 @ Johnson University in Kissimmee, Florida
The second phase is the summer ministry back in your local area. These 5-Day Club outreaches take place in parks, daycares, community centers, etc.
Dates will vary from July through August 2021
The total cost for this opportunity will vary based on your selected track (support $125, assistant and lead teachers $450). All students are required to pay a $25 application fee. $25.00 discount will be given if registered by April 15th.
Due to COVID-19, all training and ministry schedules are subject to change to keep in accordance with all state and federal guidelines.
