Cycling UK in Scotland Annual Gathering 2026

All Cycling UK members are invited to attend the Cycling UK in Scotland Annual Gathering on Saturday 31 October at Augustin United Church Hall in Edinburgh. We’d also love to welcome non-members who would like to know more about Cycling UK.
This free event features a series of inspiring and informative talks, with lunch included.

Talks and speakers include:

• Gaelic speaking Mountain biker Kerry McPhee, will be amazing us with tales of riding in the Atlas Mountains, the Silk Road and setting up community cycle groups in the Trossachs
• Endurance cyclist Christina Maczenzie the holder of the LEJOG world record and the fastest women at the 2026 1000 mile Trans Alba race, will be sharing her journey of recovery to endurance riding at the highest level following serious injury and experiencing a stroke.
• A panel discussion on cycle campaigning chaired by Inverness Cycling Provost Emily Williams including Sally Hinchcliffe, Robert Wheetman Neil Russell, & Aaron McCarthy
• Cycling UK updates by Chair of Trustees Ashley Wheaton
• Update on the new Cycling UK Gallovidian Gravel route by Ross Adams
• Updates on Cycling UK’s life-changing community based projects, and campaigns and policy work, with Suzanne Forup, Jim Densham and Scott Runciman.

Tea and coffee will be available from 10.30am, with the event starting at 11am.

A light lunch will be provided.
