This ride will take riders from the Oval at the Halifax Commons to Point Pleasant Park and back, and will be approximately 10km in total. The purpose is to help people feel more comfortable cycling in the city, and to experience different types of cycling infrastructure. We will have a stop in Point Pleasant Park to discuss cycling infrastructure, safe cycling, and more. Participants should bring their bike, a bike helmet, water, and anything else they need to feel comfortable on their bike! Starting location: Halifax Commons - Emera Oval
Ending location: Halifax Commons - Emera Oval
Accessibility notes: Participants should have the ability to ride a bicycle and access to one for the use of the ride. The ride will be a mix of shared roadways, bike lanes and gravel trails through Point Pleasant Park.
