Cyber Security Incident Management Course

In this digital age we live and operate in an increased cyber threat landscape. As we have seen in recent media, it is not if, it is when. Cyber is the new battlefield. Preparing your organisation in anticipation of a cyber breach minimises the impact and reduces critical response time.

A well-built incident response (IR) plan can fix a potential vulnerability to prevent future attacks. However, this is only part of the story. Response is a part of Incident Handling which aims to identify, contain, and minimise the cost of an incident or a cyber attack.

Come ready to be immersed in real-life simulations that prepare your organisation to manage a cyber incident, with preventive measures against future intrusion. You will walk away with a playbook on practical Incident Management, with hands on exercises to put in place for your organisation.

The course will provide participants with the skills and capabilities to build an incident management process and create response teams that will minimise data loss and build a resilience protecting organisation data assets.

Including Aaron Finnis CIISP CISM , senior cyber security leader covering a case study and Carl Woerndle, Executive Director, MyEmpire, presenting on his lived experience in losing a business to a cyber hacker and the devastating impact on every aspect of his business, personal life, and wellbeing.
