Cyanotype 101 - Trick or Treat

This playful Halloween edition of Cyanotype 101 mixes creativity with seasonal fun. You’ll learn the foundations of cyanotype while experimenting with spooky and sweet materials — from lace “spiderwebs” and pressed fall leaves to candy wrappers and creepy objects.

Health & Safety – COVID-Conscious Space

New this session: our Trick-or-Treat Print Challenge! Each participant draws one surprise “trick” (like skeleton keys, plastic bugs, or bones) and one “treat” (lace, botanicals, or candy). The challenge: combine both into a hauntingly beautiful cyanotype. You’ll also create a mini haunted patch for our patch swap, so you leave with your own work plus a surprise from another participant. Costumes encouraged, creativity essential — and yes, treats will be provided!

• KN95 masks are mandatory (free masks available at the door)
• Two HEPA filters will run during the session

• Use side entrance due to ongoing construction (buzzer code: 2800)
• Washroom code will be provided on arrival
