About the Performance:
When Faith’s girlfriend, Liv, dies in a mass shooting, she is more alone than she has ever been. Until her house starts acting strangely. With the help of her neighbors, Robert and Cody, Faith begins reaching out to Liv in hopes of reconnecting with her. With each attempt to make contact with the other side, Faith, Robert, and Cody all have to challenge their various beliefs about death, the afterlife, and what it means to move on.

Losing Faith is a play about grief, and the way the people we have lost still linger in our lives. Is being haunted always such a bad thing?

They write dramas primarily focusing on themes of grief, queerness, and mortality, and strive to create representation for those who rarely see people like themselves on the stage. The CWP Launchpad Reading Series is produced as part of The Center at West Park's Center for New Work Development. CWP is excited to present this special, 10-work edition of the series as part of the 2026 CWP Evolution Festival.
