CWGC Doors Open Days Event - Glasgow Eastern Necropolis

Around the world ordinary people do extraordinary things every day for their community. They do it today, and they did it during the world wars.

As part of Door Open Days, join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) for an open day at Glasgow Eastern Necropolis!

In Glasgow Eastern Necropolis, the CWGC commemorate 110 Commonwealth service personnel who served and died during either the First or Second World War. In addition to the Commonwealth plots, the cemetery also contains one Canadian war grave which is cared for by the Commission.

Join us on a tour to learn more about the work and history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as well as those individuals we care for at Glasgow Eastern Necropolis.
