About this Event
The construction tour runs from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, please arrive on time as there will be little grace period before the tour starts and you may miss the tour otherwise.
Following the tour there is a hosted networking session at Town Crier from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
CVU Toronto | Construction Tour - Forma
Join us for a construction tour of a landmark project developed by Great Gulf, Dream Unlimited, and Westdale Properties - Forma East, celebrated as the "homecoming" project of Toronto-born architect Frank Gehry.
The tour will be hosted by Great Gulf, Dream Unlimited, Westdale Properties, RJC Engineers, and Smith & Andersen. We invite participants to join guided, small-group tours, each focusing on specific aspects of the project, followed by a networking event where they can engage in informal discussions with the project team. The focus of the tour will be on envelope design, structural design , construction process, and Enwave district energy.
Important Info
- Check-in: Site office on the west side of the building off Ed Mirvish Way.
- PPE: CSA Safety Boots (Min 6" height), Hard Hat (Class 2 Type E with chin strap), High Visibility Vest, Gloves. The Type E Hard hats, High-vis vests, and gloves will be provided by the site if you do not have them, but the 6" safety boot requirements is mandatory (there will be no exceptions).
- TTC: The site is accessible via TTC line 1 via St Andrew Station.
- Parking: Parking is limited around the area
- Networking: Town Crier from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Tickets
The cost of the event is $60.00 for CTBUH members and $70.00 for non-members and includes refreshments at the networking event after the presentation.
Please note space limited to the first 40 registrants.
