CVU Toronto (formerly CTBUH) is excited to announce Toronto's 2026 Global Walking Tour, focused on theme of "The Space Called Home “.

Starting on Thursday, October 1st at 5:30 pm the Toronto portion of the annual global walking tour will take place. From Auckland to Ottawa to Taipei, each city tells its own story, and this year’s tour explores host locales related to “The Space called Home” touring high rise living around the world. — Each walk, curated by a member of CVU’s Urban Habitat Assembly, is an intimate, street-level investigation that reveals how towers reflect and interact with their surroundings, shaping our day-to-day movements, interconnected public and cultural spaces and understanding how vertical communities have become part of our urban fabric. Gain valuable insights while sharing this unique experience with architects, planners, developers, city advocates, and other related professionals in the industry.

This is your chance to see vertical urbanism in action and join an integral global conversation about how cities can grow vertically to be more livable

Join the CVU Canada+Toronto Leadership along with James Parakh, OAA as well as Mansoor Kazerouni (Architect of Concord Canada House) and Gabriel Leung of Concord Adex. The Toronto leg of the tour will begin on October 1st at 5:30 pm, starting at Maple Leaf Square (Plaza on the west side of Scotiabank Arena). The tour will explore residential developments in the “south core and Cityplace” neighbourhoods and end with a full tour of Concord Canada House and its amenities, including its 72nd floor sky lounge with panoramic views of Toronto’s skyline and Lake Ontario. Tour participants, as part of their ticket, will be invited for additional networking after the walk at a location TBD.

Important Info

• Check-in: Maple Leaf Square on the west side of Scotiabank Arena. Arrive 10-15 minutes early as the tour will begin promptly at 5:30 pm.

• Networking: TBD from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

• Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking.
• The tour is intended for Professionals in Related Industries.

Tickets

The cost of the event is $25.00 for CVU members and $35.00 for non-CVU members, and includes light refreshments at the networking event following the tour.
