The CSU San Marcos Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Eric Weirather, is one of the finest wind bands in the county, performing high quality literature at concerts both on an off campus of CSU San Marcos.
The Cuyamaca College Wind Ensemble is a newly formed wind band under the direction of James Sepulvado and is an audition only group comprised of many of the finest wind and percussion musicians in San Diego. They are performing the epic Symphony No. 7 by David Maslanka, a forty minute tour de force of technical difficulty and emotional drama.
