Cut Your Own Date Palm Offshoot Seminar

An East Mesa date grower is offering known varieties of date palm offshoots for the public to remove from the mother palm. Many rare varieties including soft and semi soft varieties will be available for removal. Participants will be asked to submit their 1st, 2nd and 3rd preference from the available varities of tagged date palms. All available offshoots will be tagged for removal. No Medjool date palms are in this collection.

• Bring you own gloves, tools, large chisels and a sledgehammer are recommended.
• Recommend to bring a water bottle, ice chest to keep hydrated.
• Wear work clothes and closed toed shoes.
