Here’s how it works: find a seat, dig through the crates of vintage and contemporary magazines, cut out what catches your eye and add it to a collective collage we’re all making together. No experience needed.
What to expect
- An exhibition of collages curated by The Weird Show
- A live, collective collage session with all materials provided
- Anniversary hangs with the cut + paste community
Where: alida, 2301 N 10th St, Phoenix 85006 (Coronado, at 10th & Oak). This is a creative hub in a nearly 100-year-old building that was Ed Mell’s studio for almost 50 years.
When: Sunday, November 22, 12-3PM
Since 2015, cut + paste phx has hosted collage gatherings across Phoenix, with chapters in Los Angeles, Colorado and Portland, Maine.
