Since 2017, Cut Me Up Genny have been electrifying audiences across Upstate New York. Their loud-as-hell amps, expressive stage performances and dedicated fanbase have solidified their status as the premier emo cover band in the region.

Vocalist and guitarist Alea Pettrone fronts the act, channelling only the most lovable diva vibes. Since joining the band in 2020, she has perfected the art of delivering passionate performances of Paramore, MCR, Fall Out Boy et al with all the sass and audacity you would expect from a world class emo frontwoman.

Mitch VanDenBerghe and Curt Matteson make up the two-headed guitar monster that roars in your face to the tune of only the tightest emo riffs. These dudes didn’t get to be Rochester music scene fixtures by serving milquetoast adequacy. Expect howling solos, bone-crushing power chords and badass dirty-ass tones, but above all, expect the unexpected in the form of clutch lead vocals or mesmerizing synthesizers. The rhythm section, the backbone of the band, is comprised of Tom Caster and Jacob Lomaglio on bass and drums, respectively.
