Teresa Staton, Senior Tourism Relations Manager for the Virginia Tourism Corporation
Teresa Staton brings more than 22 years of experience in customer service training and team development, with a focus on transforming everyday interactions into meaningful experiences. She currently serves as Senior Tourism Relations Manager with the Virginia Tourism Corporation and has managed the Virginia Welcome Center in Covington for the past 16 years. In addition to her leadership roles, Teresa has served as a teaching assistant with Dale Carnegie, where she has helped professionals strengthen their communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Teresa is passionate about fostering service cultures that ensure both customers and employees feel valued—an approach that is at the heart of her training sessions.
