On Sunday September 22nd we will gather at “A” Park (former Custer Park) for an afternoon of placemaking and community. We have an amazing lineup for the day, we’ll be blessed with songs from Portland All Nations Canoe Family, food provided by CaddoWoman Catering, and Eighth Generation raffle prizes! We hope to see you there. Bring your family and friends! This event is part of Portland Parks & Recreation engagement to led a community-informed renaming process to identify a new name for the park that honors Indigenous cultures, values, and ongoing presence on the lands now known as Portland, Oregon.
