🌟 Depois de esgotadas as inscrições da 1ª Edição deste curso, é com prazer que o UPĀYANA Project, em parceria com a Comunidade Hindu de Portugal, anuncia a 2ª Edição!
O Nível 1 do ‘Curso de Introdução ao Sânscrito’, lecionado por Eeshani Lasya, tem a duração de 8h e foca-se na fonética, na pronúncia correta e no Sânscrito transliterado para o alfabeto latino.
🪷 É dirigido a todas as pessoas que utilizam o Sânscrito no seu dia a dia: professores de yoga, artistas de dança ou música clássica indiana, praticantes de Ayurveda ou Astrologia Védica. É também indicado para estudiosos da Literatura Védica, linguistas, assim como curiosos ou praticantes da espiritualidade védica.
🕉️ Através deste curso, terão uma visão de como surgiu esta língua vibracional e em que contextos tem sido utilizada. Aprenderão a pronunciar corretamente as palavras, assim como a sua lógica de construção, e irão adquirir vocabulário.
Os alunos receberão material audiovisual de apoio, assim como um Certificado de Participação.

🌞 Sobre a orientadora:
Eeshani Lasya é co-fundadora do UPĀYANA Project (2025), projeto educativo dedicado à promoção da cultura indiana, e da NĀDA DANCE Company (2015).
Com formação em Pintura, Arquitetura, Música e Dança, é praticante de Yoga e Meditação há cerca de três décadas, período durante o qual iniciou o estudo da Literatura Védica. Performer, coreógrafa e professora, desenvolve o seu trabalho na Dança Clássica Indiana - Bharatanāṭyam e Odissi - há cerca de 20 anos.
Tem participado e co-organizado conferências sobre Artes Performativas e Cultura Indiana em várias universidades portuguesas, estabelecendo pontes académicas com instituições indianas, como a Jain University of Bangalore. A sua investigação em Cultura Indiana deu origem a conteúdos para plataformas digitais, bem como a programas de televisão e rádio. Atualmente, é Coordenadora do Departamento de Comunicação da Comunidade Hindu de Portugal.
O seu contacto com o sânscrito iniciou-se em 1997, tendo posteriormente aprofundado os estudos sob a orientação da Vaishvik Gyanganga Seva Trust, Udaya Shreyas e Nirvana Academy.

🌟 As our first Edition of this course is fully booked, UPĀYANA Project in partnership with Comunidade Hindu de Portugal is pleased to announce the second edition of this course!
Level 1 of the ‘Introduction to Sanskrit Course’ , with the total duration of 8h, will be taught by Eeshani Lasya, and is focused on phonetics, correct pronunciation and Sanskrit transliterated into the Latin alphabet.
🪷 It is aimed at anyone who uses Sanskrit in their daily life: yoga teachers, Indian classical dance or music artists, practitioners of Ayurveda or Vedic astrology. It is also suitable for those who study Vedic Literature, linguists, or those who are curious or practitioners of Vedic spirituality.
🕉️ Through this course, you will gain an insight into how this vibrational language came about and in what contexts it has been used. You will learn how to pronounce words correctly, as well as their construction logic, and you will acquire vocabulary.
Students will receive audiovisual support material, as well as a Certificate of Participation.
Subject to registration and a minimum number of participants.

🌞 About the Teacher:
Eeshani Lasya is the co-founder of the UPĀYANA Project (2025), an educational project dedicated to the promotion of Indian culture, and Director of NĀDA DANCE Company (2015).
With a background in Painting, Architecture, Music, and Dance, she has practiced Yoga and Meditation for nearly three decades, during which time she began studying Vedic Literature. A performer, choreographer, and teacher, she has been developing her work in Indian Classical Dance - Bharatanāṭyam and Odissi - for approximately 20 years.
She has participated in and co-organised conferences on Performing Arts and Indian Culture at several Portuguese universities, establishing academic bridges with Indian institutions such as Jain University of Bangalore.
Her research into Indian culture has led to the creation of content for digital platforms, as well as television and radio programs. She currently serves as Head of the Communication Department of the Hindu Community of Portugal.
Her engagement with Sanskrit began in 1997, and she later pursued further studies under the guidance of Vaishvik Gyanganga Seva Trust, Udaya Shreyas, and Nirvana Academy.
