An intentional midweek gathering to reconnect with your body, breath, and rhythm. Together we bring sacredness back to the dance floor. This is different than your normal night out to the function... this is a nonverbal, phone-free journey guided by music, presence, and curiosity.
A closed container means that we all arrive and begin at the same time.
We begin together to ground into intention and community. A short warmup exercise and facilitated intro will help you settle in to your body and the space. A 90 minute intentional wave of music by DJ Anthoz carries us through deep movement, play, and release. Inspired by 5 Rythms movement & The Curious & Silly Dance Experiment: There’s no choreography & no expectation. This is an invitation to be in your own body and own experience.
Flow of the evening
6:00 PM – Doors open (please arrive early, doors close at 6:30)
6:30 PM – Opening circle, consent agreements, warm-up
7:00 PM – Ecstatic dance journey / Contact Improv / Intuition practice
8:30 PM – Closing circle & reflection
9:00 PM – Hugs & Goodbyes
Guidelines
– We choose a sober, respectful, inclusive space
– We hold sacred silence during the dance (no conversations)
– We stay present, leave our phones outside the room
- We gain consent before dancing or touching any person
– Closed container: please arrive before doors close and stay through closing circle.
What to bring
Water bottle, dance socks/shoes, comfortable clothes for movement & an open heart
