About this Event
Come join us at the Seattle NFT Museum for an event hosted by the Curio Cards team with the goal of connecting existing Curio Card collectors and new collectors to Curio Cards. Also learn about the history of NFTs from one of the earliest collections.
What to expect:
- Presentation from Travis co-founder of Curio Cards
- Create your own Curio Card - visitors will see sets of the existing collection to create their own card and submit it for a chance to win an exclusive beanie or Curio Card shirt.
- Free food and drinks
- A chance to claim a POAP and receive a Curio Cards sticker.

About the hosts
Travis is a software developer with a system admin background. He likes cats, cooking, Trello, and building things both physical and digital. Travis has volunteered time for open-source, Linux, and Bitcoin/cryptocurrency groups. He has moderated Bitcoin-themed panels, spoken at conferences on the potential for art in crypto, and previously organized one of the oldest and largest Bitcoin meetup groups in the world.
Kian is a software developer and cat owner based in Seattle, WA. Kian developed the original Curio Cards wallet (pre-metamask!) and more recently developed the Curio websites and wrapper interface. In his free time Kian can be found hacking on AI side projects.
Max made his first alternative, "viral currency," with a public ledger in 2007. He has 15+ years in art, design, and typography (100M+ downloads), with an emphasis on community engagement with crypto tokens. Utilizing social engagement in the arts and design, Max has created opportunities and activities for various communities to participate, connect, and grow, while intersecting with technology. Currently, Max leverages components of DAOs to support and engage communities. He primarily works with Dacoco, the publisher of Alienworlds.io. Max is one of the artists in Curio Cards www.curio.cards, the very first art (NFTs) on Ethereum in 2017, where he released artwork under the name Marisol Vengas. These works were sold at Christie's and Sotheby's in October 2021. When not designing software for future users-- he also produces fine art and design in his studios in Chico, CA.
