Free yourself of clutter and find some great free items of your own during Curbside Give Away Weekend on June 6 and 7, 2025.
This event takes place rain or shine all across the municipality. An interactive map will be available, submissions will open on June 5, 2026. Please do not place material curbside until Saturday, June 6.
How to participate in Curbside Give Away weekend:
● Post your items on the Interactive Map, Mobile Device Map or in this Facebook event.

● Mobile Map: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/e1874a707f5f491c93cfd821503f6e69 Please note that the platform to add items will say "survey closed" until Friday June 5, 2026 and will not go live until the weekend of the event.
● Place usable household items at the curb in front of your home during the weekend
● Only place items that are free that are clearly marked with a “FREE” sign
Reminder: All unclaimed items must be removed from the curb by dusk on Sunday. Consider donating unclaimed items to charitable organizations, and place any garbage material out for collection on your regular garbage day.
Examples of some items you can put at the curb:
- books, movies, and music
- furniture and small appliances
- sports equipment and toys
- tools
- yard and gardening equipment
- kitchen gadgets, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans
- unwanted gifts
- construction material including drywall and hardware
- electronics
- clothing
- paint
- holiday decorations
Examples of items that shouldn't be placed at the curb for curbside give away weekend:
- Items that are not re-usable (place garbage for collection out on your regular garbage collection day/week)
- Items that could be infested with bed bugs (e.g., mattresses, furniture, bedding)
Practice good curbside etiquette:
- Items should be clean and in reusable condition
- Place signs on items with the word “FREE”
- Any items you want to keep should be away from the curb or brought inside to avoid confusion
- Material must be removed from the curb by dusk Sunday evening
- Take only items at the curb marked "FREE"
- Safety First: Obey traffic laws at all times
Please note that the maps will not go live until the week of the event. Please do not place material curbside until Saturday, June 6.
