For this first installment, curator Cristina Figueroa Vives, co-curator of Modern Cuban Painters: From Havana to New York Revisited, and Miami-based artist Alejandro Piñeiro Bello discuss the role of identity and memory in his paintings and the Caribbean influences that have shaped his practice.
