Be among the first to experience the newly opened Milestones: The Hope & John L. Furth Collection with Heard Museum Chief Curator Diana Pardue, who will lead a special curator talk exploring the exhibition and the stories behind the works.
Milestones draws from the Hope & John L. Furth Collection of more than 250 artworks representing a range of Indigenous artistic traditions, including pottery, textiles, fetishes, baskets and beadwork. This is the first in a series of exhibitions leading up to the Heard Museum’s 100th birthday that highlights the impact of a major gift to the museum.
This talk offers a closer look at the exhibition and the ways this important gift has and will shape the museum’s collections for generations to come.
Included with museum admission. Learn more at https://heard.org/event/curator-talk-dec2026/.
