Spanning six decades and featuring more than 75 pieces—including sculpture, painting, prints, and jewelry—the exhibition captures Haozous’s incisive social commentary and overlooked contributions to contemporary art.
Known for using satire and irony, Haozous challenges perceptions of Indigenous art, exploring its place as art, commodity, and cultural practice while reflecting on the philosophical meaning of being Indigenous in the postmodern world.
