A year ago, this started as a simple idea , get good people in a room and see what happens. No apps, no pressure and no weird setups. Just real, human connection!
Fast forward 12 months…
Curated has evolved!
It started as singles events… but it’s not just that anymore. Because honestly, people aren’t just looking for dates, they’re looking for connection. To make new friends, meet new people, have something fun to do and be around good energy again.
Maybe you’ve just come out of a relationship…and you want to be around good company without any pressure to date!
And if we’re being honest…A lot of singles events can feel a bit awkward. This takes the pressure off. You might meet someone…it just happens naturally here.
Curated is about bringing good people together, doing something fun, supporting local businesses and letting the rest flow.
In just one year, Curated has created hundreds of new friendships, many happy couples have met here and we now have a massive community that keeps showing up! Most people walk in alone… and don’t leave that way.
12 months later, we’re going back to where it all started!

This isn’t just another event, it’s the kind of night where conversations will flow easily, you won’t feel out of place and you will actually enjoy yourself.

4:30pm–7:30pm
3 hr sunset sail on the water (Love Boats)
Welcome drink on arrival (champagne or beer)

Singles, couples, friends, new to Canberra, been here forever, you’re all welcome here. Come and be part of the Curated community.
Ages 18+. We always have a diverse range of people. Our last event the youngest was 23 and the oldest was 70 and no one was out of place!
All orientations welcome!
If you are single
Optional wristbands/badges will be available if you're open to telling people you're single and open to connection. No awkward guessing and no pressure!
Real talk
A lot of people hesitate to come. They watch from the sidelines… say they’ll come “next time”…and then miss it. Meanwhile, the people who actually come? They show up a bit nervous… and within minutes they’re talking, laughing, connecting and making new friends and so glad they came.

Most people come solo, we promise you won’t be the only one. We will make you feel comfortable and welcome the moment you step onboard.
