Cupping At The Temple II
About this Event
In partnership with The Commando Temple, The Cupping Directives, Cofinet and The Very Powerful Foundation.
This one is about our people. A celebration of community. A celebration of UKE NATION.
We return to The Commando Temple, the place where UKE Coffee first came to life, as we call upon the coffee curious, the caffeine enthusiasts, figureheads of the speciality scene and, of course, all those you represent UKE nation, to help us build what comes next.
For DROP 004, we're doing things differently. Together with the mighty Cofinet, we'll present a bangin shortlist of coffees competing for a place in our next release.
But this isn't just a chance to taste them.
Led by our day-one Sensei, The Cupping Directives, we invite you to taste, judge and ultimately have a say in helping decide which coffees become DROP 004.
A drop chosen by our people. A drop built by our community. A drop for UKE nation.
Community means more than coffee, too. We're proud to welcome The Very Powerful Foundation (VPF) as our charity partner for the event. Their work combines positive psychology with coaching, movement, creativity and community to help people discover what they're capable of.
We're also teaming up with VPF to give away a bunch of prizes. When you RSVP, you'll have the option to donate £5 to VPF and get a ticket for the raffle, £10 for 3 tickets, and £20 for 8 tickets. There will be more tickets available to buy at the Temple on the day and raffle tickets will be distrubted on the day.
We'll also be running a separate online raffle for anyone who can't make it down but still wants to support VPF and have a chance to win some good gear.
All proceeds from both raffles will go towards funding VPF's free programmes and workshops.
And finally, some of the Sensei’s of UKE Coffee will be joining us at the Temple, showcasing and selling their own handmade goods, including Ice Cold Charlies, Fran Skinner, and more to be announced soon.
COME CUP. COME CHOOSE. COME BUILD DROP004 WITH US. UKE NATION, this one is for you.
UNTIL VICTORY.
