This Cup & Show Week, Women in Agribusiness NZ invites you to join us for Beyond the Fences — an evening celebrating the women who are building businesses, pursuing passions and creating opportunities beyond the farm gate.
We are bringing together a panel of inspiring agri-women to share the stories behind their side hustles, businesses and ventures beyond agriculture — the ideas that started at the kitchen table, the opportunities they chased, and the unexpected paths their careers and businesses have taken.
Expect honest conversation, plenty of laughs, a few lessons learned along the way and the chance to connect with other women across our agricultural and business communities.
WHAT TO EXPECT
🎤 Panel conversation: Hear from women who are doing more than one thing and have built something of their own alongside their lives in agriculture.
🥂 Drinks & nibbles: Come ready to relax and enjoy some nibbles, with your first drink on us. After that, drinks are available to purchase at the bar.
🤝 Networking & connection: Meet other like-minded women from across Canterbury’s agribusiness community.
✨ Real stories: The successes, the challenges, the unexpected turns — and what happens when you step beyond the familiar.
