Our annual Knowledge Forum is back, this December Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th

Culture Shift's annual event for sharing best practice and knowledge across sectors.

We're pleased to announce that this year we'll be holding the event in person!

Macdonald Manchester Hotel, Manchester, M1 2PJ.

AGENDA

Day 1: Open to all partners in person and online (ticket price varies depending on your package)

09:30 - Arrival/Registration/Refreshments

10:30 - Welcome and Introduction from Gemma McCall Culture Shift's CEO and Co-Founder

Gemma will touch on pressing issues for partners. Highlighting why prevention, and an adequate response to bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct remain vital across all industries.

10:45 - Opening Panel discussion

‘Change starts here’: tackling systematic oppression and disadvantage can seem like an insurmountable task. The role of organisations in creating social change and what you can and should do today.

11:50 - Breakout sessions

Topics will include: effective campaigning and promotion to increase awareness of your site, addressing anonymous reports, tackling harassment as a small or specialist institution.

(Those attending in person will be able to choose which session they want to attend, those watching online will only have access to what's taking place in the main room.)

12:45 - Hot buffet lunch

13:45 - Keynote Speech

Using restorative justice as a tool for addressing interpersonal harm

14:45 - Breakout sessions

Topics will include: Getting the most out of your data, tackling online harassment, and creating psychological safety.

(Those attending in person will be able to choose which session they want to attend, those watching online will only have access to what's taking place in the main room.)

16:15 - Closing plenary panel discussion

17:00 - 18:00 Evening networking drinks for in person attendees.

Day 2: Gold Partners Only

(2 places per partner will be allocated initially to allow all Gold partners to attend)

09:30 - 10:00 - Intros & speed meeting

10:00 - 10:30 - Introduction to the theory of change and the community of practice events/forum for the year

12:15 - 13:00 - Lunch

13:00 - 2.30 - Long Table Inspired by Sara Ahmed's book Complaint! - The Long Table is a dinner party structured by etiquette, where conversation is the only course. (http://www.split-britches.com/long-table)

2:30 - 3.30 - Specialist workshop/training taster sessions.

3.30 - 3.45 - Wrap up and Close

Ticket prices range from £0 - £250, please purchase tickets based on your Culture Shift partner status. All free and reduced tickets will need to be verified by Culture Shift before approval. Topics subject to change.

The hotel is offering a limited number of discount rooms for those who wish to stay overnight on the 6th or the 7th of December, this discount is only available until the 24th of October.
