Join us to celebrate Culture Night at St. Canice’s Cathedral and Round Tower on Friday 19th September 2025, 5 – 9pm

The evening will include workshops, tours and activities for all the family! With free entry for the evening, there will be opportunity to discover history, heritage and the arts at St. Canice’s Cathedral.

The evening will include:
- Drop-in sketching sessions with artist Jade Butler.
- Family Drop-In art workshop – artist Ellie Cullen will led this session which will invite families to explore the Cathedral’s stunning stained glass windows.
- Stained Glass window tour, led by one of the Cathedral’s experienced guides.
- Explore the Irish War Memorial records and trace your genealogy with an experienced member of our team.
- Tower at Twilight; enjoy extended evening access to the Round Tower, where views of Kilkenny await.
- Exclusive Bell Tower & Roof Tour – behind the scenes with our Tower Captain for a unique experience in the Ringing Room – the largest in Ireland.

Join us for this night of cultural immersion and see one of Kilkenny’s most historic sites in a new light!
