About this Event
Periods are universal, yet every person’s experience is shaped by their culture, upbringing, and the conversations they did or did not have growing up. Some communities celebrate menstruation as a rite of passage. Others treat it as something to hide. The stories we learn early on can impact confidence, comfort, and our ability to advocate for our health. We are creating a space where everyone can show up, share, learn, and challenge the stigma together. No judgment. No awkwardness. Just real talk about how culture influences the way we understand periods. We will have a panel of menstruators from different backgrouds and age groups to discuss who, what and how they learned about menstruation.
