Cultural Intelligence Workshop

UBA is partnering with the International Mission Board to offer a Servant Leadership and Cultural Intelligence workshop.

Why Cultural Intelligence?

Ministry leaders increasingly find themselves working on or with culturally diverse teams. Perhaps your church shares a facility with those from a different ethnic background. Maybe you lead a church with several generations from the same ethnic background. This workshop is especially helpful for those who serve on multi-cultural missionary teams. This workshop is designed to equip you and your ministry partners with greater cultural insight and greater ministry impact.

What do I need to do to prepare?

• Cultural Intelligence (CQ) profile. The CQ profile determines the cultural perspective you have in each of ten cultural dimensions or values. No single value is better than the others. The instrument is a tool to help us know each other better.

The assessment requires about 15-20 minutes to complete.

• 12 short devotions. We'll send you a set of 12 devotional-length Bible studies to prepare for the event. We suggest you complete one Bible study each day beginning about two weeks prior to the workshop to have them all completed prior to the workshop.
