Cultural Forces of Ukraine in St. Petersburg, FL

Ukrainian Spirit by Yaryna Levytska, a non-profit organization and their general partner Chaikovsky Productions, are presenting a series of performances by Cultural Forces in Florida. This initiative aims to express deep gratitude to the American people for their steadfast support during these challenging times for Ukraine.

Cultural Forces includes artists who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as some civilian guest musicians. Their mission is to uplift the morale of troops in conflict and recovery zones through the arts and to promote Ukraine on the global stage. The performers who are now serving in the Army were all professional musicians before the war and continue to serve actively amidst the ongoing war.

In May-June 2024, Cultural Forces completed its first international tour across the Northeast U.S., including Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; Washington, DC; Cleveland, OH; Detroit, MI; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Pittsburgh, PA and other cities. This tour was a resounding success, with over 100 performances and a cumulative audience of approximately 15,000, excluding TV and radio audiences. Cultural Forces' engagements ranged from performances at the U.S. Capitol and various public venues to collaborations with local artists and educational institutions.

Building on this success, Cultural Forces is now preparing for its next tour, which will cover the Southern states from East Coast to West Coast touring from mid-September to mid-November 2024. They plan to visit cities including Orlando, FL; Miami, FL; St. Petersburg, FL; North Port, FL; Atlanta, GA; New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX and Los Angeles, CA and others.
