About this Event
Diversity in leadership is essential for driving innovation in research and teaching, as well as for providing meaningful role models for future generations across all areas of science.
The Faculty of Science has made significant strides in advancing gender equity through open dialogue and action over the years. However, conversations around equity and inclusion for culturally diverse communities are still emerging.
This panel will explore the challenges and opportunities in building a stronger, more inclusive pipeline of culturally diverse staff and students within our community.
Join us for this important and inspiring conversation, followed by light refreshments and networking. This event is open to all Faculty of Science staff and students.
Panel Members:
- Professor Chibuike Udenigwe - School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences
- FoS student
- MDHS’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee member (DIAC)
