Celebrate Latino Conservation Week and Hispanic Heritage Month with us at Cultural Connections on Saturday, September 19 from 10AM – 12PM at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center. Learn through hands-on activities about Hispanic scientists who contributed to our understanding of environmental and atmospheric science. Practice plant identification like botanist Ynés Mexía and study the ozone like chemist Dr. Mario Molina. This event is free and open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.
