One of the more interesting values found in the American culture is competition. Many believe that it is competition that brings out the very best of people. Competition is essential to our free enterprise system. It is the driving force behind economic progress and success in society and at work.Americans often thrive in competitive settings where talents, skills, ambitions, and abilities are displayed. Thus, competition is a great motivator in many aspects of our lives, probably none more apparent than in the workplace. An overly competitive spirit, however, may adversely impact our work and those around us.
Join us along with special guest Mike Nutter, President of the Fort Wayne TinCaps, as we discuss how the strengths and limitations of competition impact faith and work in our everyday lives....and how we can each chart a better way forward.
