Tony-winner for her role as the title character in The Drowsy Chaperone and Tony-nominated for her leading roles in Baby, It's You and The Prom, Singing-Actor Beth Leavel wowed our group at our exclusive "behind-the-scenes" meeting with stories of her journey to and experiences on Broadway...as well as with singing a few showstopping songs! She also met and chatted with us after we attended a performance of Old Friends in 2025.

JCC Members and non-members; people of all backgrounds & faiths, hair styles and chocolate preferences are invited to join in these enriching & delicious cultural programs!
Actor and Fight Director (also called a "Fight Choreographers," "Fight Consulatant," or "Fight Coordinator") Thomas Schall, not only discussed his career in theater but also demonstrated a variety of tricks and techniques used to stage everything from a simple slap across the face to a full-fledged fight scene. Schall has fight directed over 100 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions including his recent work on The Balusters, Waiting for Godot, Othello, Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her, Cabaret, Hell's Kitchen, The Music Man, Company...and, so many more!
Our group after another interesting "behind-the-scenes" meeting...this time, with Singing-Actor Jerrod Spector, who starred as Frankie Valli for four years of the Broadway run in Jersey Boys, was Tony-nominated for his role as Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and recently played Sonny Bono in Broadway's The Cher Show, and is currently starring at King George III in Hamilton.
