16% of Brevard Country residents cannot read a simple sentence. If you think you might be interested in or are a current volunteer working to promote literacy in Brevard, please join us. Our program will cover all aspects of the work we do that is necessary to conduct a program that benefits our neighbors who most need the dedication of a trained tutor. Please bring a brownbag lunch. For 50 years, Literacy for Adults in Brevard (LAB) has been helping Brevard residents achieve their GED, gain citizenship, fill out job applications, read to their kids and grandkids.
