The evening will begin with a talk on emotional intelligence and opening the heart center, and then we will practice a guided meditation with a sound bath with the lovely Heidi McCurdy

We are delighted to welcome beautiful Heidi McCurdy to this event to share in the heart-centered meditation sound bath.

Heidi McCurdy is a singer, songwriter, sound healer, voice coach, and expressive arts therapist. Her award-winning music songs have been played on TV and national radio, and she has toured Canada and Europe with various bands.

In her sound healing sessions, Heidi tunes in to the music of the moment, and shares songs, tones, mantras, and intuitive improvisations. She uses resonant crystal bowls and layered vocal looper harmonies, combined with the ancient call of the drum, to create a blissful and enchanted ambiance.

Surrounded by beautiful sound, it becomes easy to surrender into a dreamlike state of deep relaxation. Soothing vibration travels through our entire body, stimulating healing on multiple levels. In this peaceful state, our nervous systems have a chance to calm down and release stored tension. Our heart opens into bliss, helping to restore us to our innate balance and wholeness.
