Returning to cinemas over half a century after its release, Academy Award winning director Don Siegel’s hit action-thriller DIRTY HARRY, a brilliant exploration of the conflict between individual legal rights and an increasingly violent and chaotic society.
Hard-nosed cop Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood), famous for his take-no-prisoners approach to the law, attempts to track down a psychopathic rooftop killer dubbed ‘Scorpio’ before a kidnapped girl dies. When he is found Harry abuses the murderer's civil rights putting him back on the streets. Once he is released, he hijacks a school bus, and Harry must go after him again. The only way to stop this vicious killer is in cold blood.
Featuring a standout performance from four-time Academy Award winning cinema icon Clint Eastwood and supporting cast, Andrew Robinson, Josef Sommer and Jo de Winter, DIRTY HARRY is a fascinating exploration of American political and social frustrations of the 1970s.
