Heavy Metal is a visually stunning, adult-oriented animated anthology film that explores themes of sex, violence, and science fiction. The film is framed by a story of a mysterious green orb, the Loc-Nar, that infects a young girl with its evil influence. The orb then proceeds to tell a series of unrelated stories, each more bizarre and fantastic than the last.
