Many Americans look down on SPAM, viewing the canned pork product with disdain. But such negative impressions stem from misinformation or lack of information about its creation, production, history and consumption. With this presentation, Dr. Kelly Spring, a food studies researcher and lecturer and the author of SPAM: A Global History, aims to set the record straight.
