Cucalorus Film Festival Presents: "Bagworm"

Carroll is a sleazy hammer salesman, terminally online, convinced the world is ending, and incapable of not making everything worse. When he steps on a rusty nail, his body begins a grotesque metamorphosis that mirrors his crumbling life. In his dangerously committed debut feature, director Oliver Bernsen melds grungy body horror with absurdist cringe comedy for a squeamish 16mm portrait of the "manosphere" and all its toxic isolation.
