About the Círculo Sororo

The Circulo Sororo is a support network created in the summer of 2022 in response to the need for feminist and collective spaces for Latin women and non-binary individuals in Toronto. We recognize that as immigrants, we have unique needs and experiences and the importance of support networks and community. We created a safe space where we discuss a range of issues with a feminist perspective and incorporate art and activism activities. The circle is not a therapy group but a support group where we share our reflections based on our experiences and migratory contexts.
