On the 9th of October it will sadly be 9 years since our little sister Wilhelmina died of a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer just 3 weeks short of her 50th birthday and a week before her eldest of 4 girls' 16th birthday, which we bought forward a week so she could be there to celebrate it. She took her last breath at 6.06pm the next day while our father (RIP) and I held her hands and my brother played his guitar at her feet.. with Charles Humphreys at her head and our Mum and her girls looking on, and while Rafael and Sjaak held the fort and kicked off Sunday Salsa at The Cross.. in my absence.***
PLEASE JOIN US DRESSED IN AS MUCH PINK AS POSSIBLE IN CUBA MALL ON FRIDAY 1 NOVEMBER @ 6PM - THE DAY BEFORE OUR SISTER'S ("MINA'") WOULD HAVE BEEN 58TH BIRTHDAY - TO CELEBRATE LIFE IN PINK 🩷 LA VITA IN ROSA 🩷 LEVEN IN ROZE 🩷 LA VIDA EN ROSA 🩷 LA VIE EN ROSE 🩷 ORA I ROTO I TE MAWHERO 🩷 AND TO RAISE AS MUCH AS WE CAN FOR BCFNZ.
