Beginner to Intermediate Cuban Salsa Rueda: Wednesdays October 29 - December 17, 7-8pm
Learn this vibrant group dance where dancers switch partners in a circle to the call of a leader. In the first half of the class participants will learn the foundation moves of Guapea, Dile que no/Dame, Vacila, Exhibela, and Enchufla. In the second half of the class we will be putting these moves together to form more advanced combinations that will allow you to join rueda dances at social events. No partner or prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to have fun! Taught by Vito Garcia.
Intermediate/Advanced Cuban Salsa Rueda: Wednesdays October 29 - December 17, 8-9pm
Dancers who already know the foundation rueda moves as well as some combinations are welcome to join the advanced class where we will explore advanced figures and elevate our technique, partnering skills and musicality. No Partner needed. Taught by Vito Garcia.
$80 for 8 weeks for residents, $100 for non-residents
