🍂 Cub Scout Hike — McDowell Grove 🥾

Join us for a fall hike at McDowell Grove Forest Preserve! With the leaves changing and the seasons shifting, we’ll explore the trails along the East Branch of the DuPage River and take in the colors of the fall forest.
Along the way, we’ll look for different types of trees, observe how the forest changes as winter approaches, and talk about what happens to all those fallen leaves—and how they help the forest.
We’ll also keep our eyes open for birds, wildlife and other signs of the changing season.
🍁 A beautiful fall hike, a little nature exploration, and a chance to enjoy one of our local forest preserves together!
🥾 Approximately 3 miles — come ready to hike and explore!
