Brother and sister duo Matt MacIsaac, an acclaimed bagpiper and Celtic musician, and Veronica MacIsaac, an internationally recognized tartan fashion designer - together seek to put on a unique artistic endeavor: a combined live music and fashion show. Their family has dedicated themselves to celebrating and promoting Scottish heritage for generations; their parents are master kiltmakers, and all four of them proudly make their living in the Scottish arts.The theme of the event is "Cuan" (Gaelic for ocean) which celebrates the interplay between the rugged coastal landscapes of Nova Scotia and their Scottish heritage. This joint performance will blend two forms of Celtic expression—traditional Scottish music and tartan fashion design—creating a sensory experience rooted in their heritage. Half of the performance will feature Matt’s solo musical compositions, including new arrangements inspired by our theme of the Atlantic Ocean. The other half will showcase Veronica's latest tartan fashion line, with pieces reflecting the deep blues, grays, and mystique of the sea. Both elements will weave together, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in the spirit of the Atlantic—a force as powerful and enduring as our Scottish roots.
