Champaign Urbana Ballet presents the world’s most favorite fairytale -- Cinderella. A glass slipper, a pumpkin coach, and a Fairy Godmother carry Cinderella through this timeless and beautiful ballet.
Cinderella dreams of what the world is like outside the confines of her suppressive home and her two wicked stepsisters. On the night of the Royal Ball, her Fairy Godmother and the fairies offer her all she needs to attend the dance. Upon seeing Cinderella, the Prince falls in love. At the stroke of midnight, Cinderella rushes to leave the Ball, leaving her glass slipper behind. The Prince finds it and determines to somehow find the mysterious young woman whose dainty foot fits the glass slipper.
The ballet is set to the magnificent music of Sergei Prokofiev.
Running Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes – with one intermission.
