CASTING CALL: CTSI Presents Yo Vikings! Book and Lyrics by Marcus Stevens; Music by Sam Wilmott. Adapted from Judith Byron Schachner’s acclaimed book of the same name, Yo, Vikings! is the mini-saga of 10-year-old Emma Katz, the fiercest Viking in Swarthmore, PA, and her quest for real adventure!

AUDITIONS for those in GRADES 3-12
Saturday, March 8 from 9:00 Am-12:00 Pm, with possible callbacks from 12:00-1:00 Pm
*You may request an alternate day and time below, on the audition form. You may submit a video with an introduction, the monologue and song, no later than Friday, March 7 at 8:00 Pm, but we may still need to call you back before casting.
Adults will be notified of a separate audition date and time
PREPARE
Everyone will be expected to perform one of the monologues included at this link and to sing a 30-45 second cut of a song which demonstrates vocal ability, stage presence, and expression. Those called back for the main character, Emma, will be asked to sing a cut of "Emma the Red"

REHEARSAL DATES AND TIMES- Saturdays & Sundays 1:00 Pm-5:00 Pm, with occasional Friday evenings for part of the cast, beginning April 5th.
PERFORMANCES will be June 6-8 at The Crescent Room

More About the Show:
Emma Katz is an adventurous 10-year-old living in the suburbs of Philadelphia, whose vivid imagination often leads her on playful escapades that set her apart from her more traditional friends and family. When her teacher gives her the task of presenting on Erik the Red for World Discovery Day, Emma taps into her inner Viking, embarking on a genuine quest to make a positive impact on her community.
