CTSI presents Cats: Young Actors Edition

CATS: Young Actors Edition is a one-hour adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical, specially tailored for young actors.
CATS is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purr-fect felines, including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks, and Grizabella. The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

The cast of students, grades 1-12, is under the direction of Maria Rivers, with music direction by Molly Wuertz.
The show runs approximately 60 minutes with an intermission.
Tickets, available with reserved seating online at CTSIN.ORG at $18 for those 12 and older, with children 11 and under tickets sold at $16, will also be sold at the door prior to each performance.

The Crescent Room is at 621 S. Cullen Avenue, which is at the corner of Bellemeade and Cullen, in the Milestones/ Easter Seals building. Parking is off Bellemeade.
