They have gained acclaim for their mind-bending live performances, as evidenced by the live album and accompanying video performance, The Levitation Sessions; recorded and filmed in the aluminum sphere of the CEMES laboratory particle microscope in Toulouse.
In 2020, they racked up over 1.7 million views on YouTube with their KEXP session recorded at the Trans Musicales festival in Rennes.
Alongside their fascination with the physical force of sound, ILION frame their work as a Homeric journey through collapse and renewal across space-time.
