The Cape Town Concert Series celebrates its 70th year with the welcome return of Chinese clarinettist Junnan Sun, who presents a concert with friends: Johanna Roos (violinist) and José Dias (pianist) on Saturday 20th September.
The audience will be taken on a journey through diverse musical landscapes. On the programme is Brahms' Violin and Piano Sonata in A major, Op.100, Schumann's Three Fantasy Pieces, Op.73, Darius Milhaud's Suite for Clarinet, Violin and Piano, Op. 157b and Khachaturian's Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano.
The concert takes place at 11am in the Baxter Concert Hall. As always the Baxter bar is open for coffee and drinks which can be taken into the hall to enjoy along with the music.
